Recruitment of Trainees Underway

The Ethiopian National Theatre, as part of its 100-day plan, is conducting recruitment of trainees in the fields of music and theatre across regions and city administrations.

For this major recruitment effort, experienced professionals from the theatre have been dispatched to regions and city administrations. The recruitment began on October 4, 2018, and is currently ongoing.

The program targets mid-level professionals working in music and theatre. After the recruitment, selected candidates will receive training designed to strengthen their skills. They will then return to their respective regions to train other artists, sharing the knowledge and experience gained, thereby building capacity.

The training will particularly focus on addressing gaps in performance and vocal skills observed at the National Theatre. Those with special talents and abilities will be integrated into the theatre’s work.

The recruitment process will continue in the coming days across regions and city administrations.
